This unique service allows us to manage and guide patients through injuries remotely. During these Virtual Consultations, we will be able to provide a thorough history, evaluation, offer advice/lifestyle modifications, and prescribe at-home rehabilitation plans to help our patients. Class IV Laser Therapy

Platinum Series Class IV therapeutic lasers deliver specific red and near-infrared wavelengths of laser light to induce a photochemical reaction and therapeutic effect. Physiological effects include increased circulation, reduced inflammation, pain reduction and enhanced tissue healing.

Manipulation

When a joint is fixated, a manipulation or chiropractic adjustment is utilized to help restore normal biomechanics and function.

 

Manual Therapy

Manual Therapy is the term used to address any soft tissue or muscle problems that may be present. Specialized hands-on techniques are used to address the muscle, tendon, ligament, or fascia.

 

Functional Rehabilitation

The usage of a variety of exercises given to the patient that address movement dysfunction. Typically used to target strength, coordination, mobility, and stability.

 

Dry Needling

A thin, solid filament needle is inserted to release tension and normalize function. Dry Needling is a highly effective treatment used for a variety of conditions, such as trigger points and strains.

 

IAST (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue)

The utilization of a hand-held tool to treat areas of scar tissue/adhesions in muscles, tendons, ligaments, and fascia.

 

Neuromobilization 

A technique used in the treatment of nerves by doing specific movements that are designed to gently floss or glide the nerves of the arms and legs.

Movement Screens

Specific movements and assessments to address the "quality" of a movement to determine altered biomechanics and dysfunctions. This is utilized to determine if the site of pain is the true problem.

 

Pregnancy and Pediatrics

Utilization of specialized techniques to keep the expectant mother out of pain.  VERY gentle mobilizations are used for the treatment of the pediatric patient to restore proper function.

 

TMJ Dysfunction

Temporomandibular dysfunction consists of altered mechanics of the TMJ along with the cervical spine/neck. A conservative approach for those suffering from jaw pain.
